History
The roots of Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences stretch back to 1997. At that time, the KS Kaderschulen St. Gallen and Zurich, together with the Feusi schools in Bern, founded the PHW Private University of Applied Sciences St. Gallen, Zurich, Basel and Bern.
Facts & Figures
The number of students remained at a high level in 2023: The number of students as of 31 December 2023 was more than 3,800. The number of dedicated lecturers and employees has continued to grow, and so we continue to ensure practical quality teaching and personal support for students - our most important service promises.
Organisation
The organisation of Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences is divided into the central research & development R&D, Kalaidos Research, the UAS service and the Departments of Economics, Law, Applied Psychology, Health and Music.
Quality is important to us
Kalaidos UAS has set up its own quality management system, the K-QMS, tailored to its needs. It is based on the basic principle of systematic and continuous improvement and includes all performance areas of Kalaidos UAS.
Ombudsman's Office Integrity in Research and Teaching
The Integrity Officers of the Commission for the Preservation of Academic Integrity are the point of contact if there is suspicion of academic misconduct and receive reports of this nature.
Sustainability
As it is understood by Kalaidos UAS, sustainability includes, regulated in the curriculum, the imparting of knowledge about sustainable options for action to the students and all measures through which Kalaidos UAS lives up to its self-image as a long-term oriented organisation that uses human, financial, infrastructural and ecological resources efficiently and thus contributes to the long-term survival and healthy development of the institution.
