The organisation of Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences is divided into the central research & development R&D, Kalaidos Research, the UAS service and the Departments of Economics, Law, Health, Applied Psychology and Music.
University Council
Strategic responsibility for all issues relating to higher education law lies with the University Council of Kalaidos UAS. It decides on matters from the fields of goals and main topics of education and research, human resources, quality management, marketing, service provision and organisation. It also has extensive decision-making powers on issues that directly affect the quality of education and research.

University Conference
Operational responsibility for all higher education law matters lies with the rectors (overall, for each department), the Head of Quality and Accreditation, the Chief Financial and Operating Officer and the Head of Research & Development (R&D). Together they form the University Conference.

Organisation and operational management
The organisation of Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences is divided into the central research & development R&D, Kalaidos Research, the UAS service and the Departments of Economics, Law, Health, Applied Psychology and Music.
The operational management of Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences is carried out by the rector (Rector Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences). The departments are each headed by a rector (Rector Department). They are responsible for the operational implementation of the strategic goals of their departments.
Kalaidos Research is the central research and development office. This ensures a uniform level of quality both in research-based learning and in research projects. Kalaidos Research is responsible for the implementation of strategic research and development goals at Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences.
The UAS service (consisting of Quality & Accreditation and the CFOO) provides higher-level services such as the K-QMS quality management system of Kalaidos UAS, the Office for Equal Opportunities, Internationalisation and Mobility or statistical information for the Federal Statistical Office.
The departments are divided into the areas of training and further education. The Department of Economics also has various institutes that serve special target groups.
The institute heads are responsible for the implementation of the strategic goals of their institutes.
