Master of Science FH in Nursing with majors «Applied Research» and «Clinical Excellence»

The study programme Master of Science in Nursing (MScN) with the two majors «Applied Research» and «Clinical Excellence» is designed as an educational service provision for contemporary health care. The starting point for the study programme is the developmental need of a strategically positioned topic in the students’ job institution.

In order to achieve the project goal, the students carry out the project in the real work environment alongside the whole course of study, including the use of research methods as well as strategic project management principles. The students and their institutions are fully flexible with regard to the project topic. This way, the students and the institution have a unique possibility of participation and cooperation with Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences, Department of Health Sciences.

The university is in charge of the academic project assistance. The added value of this model of study is to lead students to the study outcome «fit for practice» with a scientific approach. This model strengthens sustainability so that the project’s benefit will last beyond the duration of study.
