Admission requirements
Candidates with artistic and pedagogical aptitude who hold a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized University of Music in the intended main subject are invited to take the admission examination.
In exceptional cases, candidates with many years of professional experience in the field of music pedagogy may be admitted without a Bachelor's degree. In this case, an additional admission examination in music theory is required.
Students whose first or educational language ist not German, as a rule, must have a B2 diploma. A language exam can also be taken at the beginning of the degree programme at Kalaidos University of Music.
