The International Music Academy Anton Rubinstein is a private university with locations in Düsseldorf and Berlin. Since its founding in 2002 as an institute for piano and chamber music, it has continuously expanded and today stands for individually customisable study options ranging from comprehensive artistic training and qualifying postgraduate studies to private lessons and master classes. In the cooperation with the Kalaidos University of Music Zurich/Switzerland, which has been in place since 2016, the state-recognised Bachelor of Music, Master of Music and Soloist Diploma programmes are offered.

Renowned teachers with international concert and stage experience accompany and advise students on their way to a professional career as musicians. Individual artistic and professional development is the focus of pedagogical attention. The aim is to provide intensive, concentrated music study at an international level in a family atmosphere.

The rooms of the International Music Academy - named after Anton Rubinstein, the famous pianist, composer and founder of the Saint Petersburg Conservatory - are located in the listed baroque house Goldener Helm in the lively old town of Düsseldorf as well as in Berlin-Charlottenburg. Through the diverse programme of events, which includes several chamber music series in cooperation with local cultural institutes and international competitions, the students of the Anton Rubinstein International Music Academy can gain important practical experience.
