Admission requirements
Candidates with artistic and pedagogical aptitude who hold a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized University of Music in the intended main subject are invited to take the admission examination.
In exceptional cases, candidates with many years of professional experience may be admitted without a Bachelor's degree. In this case, an additional admission examination in music theory is required.
Students whose first or educational language is not German, as a rule, must have a B2 diploma. A language exam can also be taken at the beginning of the degree program at Kalaidos University of Music.
