Receive two certificates: Become academically and professionally certified

Together with House of Lab Science, we recognize the importance of well-trained engineers and project managers, and so we have developed the study program CAS FH in Project Management for Lab Automation, In-Vitro-Diagnostics, and Analytics.
This program not only imparts essential knowledge and skills to future laboratory professionals but also presents numerous career benefits. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a Certificate of Advanced Studies that is recognized as part of one of our (Executive) Master in Business Administration programs and a globally recognized certification from the International Project Management Association, granting them a competitive advantage in the job market both domestically and internationally. Admission

By enrolling in this study program, professionals from diverse backgrounds and at various stages of their careers can invest in their future and position themselves for success in the captivating and rapidly evolving field of laboratory technology.

To apply, candidates must have/be:

  • at least a bachelor level or equivalent university degree or a higher Swiss national diploma with a background in engineering, life science, lab automation, analytics or similar without industry-specific experience
  • (prospective) project managers in the laboratory environment
  • experienced project managers from the outside of the laboratory environment in lateral entry

The program is conducted fully in English.


Information on fees

CHF 9'700

Fees include teaching materials and examinations taken at Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences.
The certification fee of the International Project Management Association is not included and depends of the certification level.
