3rd Young Carer's Conference in Switzerland
On May 16, 2022, the 3rd International Young Carers Conference took place in Lugano, organized by the Careum Hochschule Gesundheit. The opportunity for national and international participants to exchange ideas and network in the sunny region of Switzerland after two years of the pandemic was wonderful. The conference with experts from research and practice and young carers was very well received. "Inspiring conference", "enriching exchange among the participants" - that was the feedback from the participants.
More than 80 guests from 10 countries took part in the trilingual event with simultaneous translation into German, English and Italian. On the one hand, representatives of various universities from European countries gave presentations at the conference, and on the other hand, there was also direct exchange between young carers and experts.
